Covid-19 Update—24/06/2020

Dear All,

As I am sure you will all be aware, the Government have now announced that Caravan and Camping parks can reopen from Saturday 4th July 2020 as long as measures are put in place to be ' Covid Secure'.

In line with this we shall be opening on the 4th July but with extra measures put in place to ensure yours and our safety. Below is a provisional list of measures we are using. These measures may increase as we work through our opening procedure and will hopefully decrease as time goes on but we feel they will get us all off to a good start.

Measures we are putting in place

  • Pitches and capacity. We already have very large pitches so spacing will not be an issue, however we shall be limiting total capacity to ensure facilities are not strained.
  • Facilities. The toilet and shower block will be operational with a regular and thorough cleaning schedule.
  • Payment. To speed up check-in and reduce contact we will now ask that all bookings are paid in full two weeks before arrival.
  • Check-in. On check-in it will be 'one in—one out' in reception.
  • Groups. Unfortunately due to the existing Government guidelines regarding groups we will not be able to take group bookings for the foreseeable future. We are accepting a maximum of two bookings together. If individual bookings are found to be creating a 'group' the bookings will be cancelled / you will be asked to leave the park.
  • The Café and Fred's Bar. We are hoping to open the café and bar to some extent from the 4th July. This comes under its own guidelines which we are currently assessing and will we will provide further updates as soon as we know more.
  • Social distancing. We ask that all visitors maintain social distancing measures while on the park. Information will be displayed around the park to help with this.
  • Covid symptoms. If you or any of your party are displaying any of the covid symptoms, do not travel to site and please telephone us to let us know the situation.
